Hangar49
We talk about different airstrips to visit, the ups and downs of flying in the Pacific Northwest, and all the fun events you can find here! We also like to discuss aviation music, movies, books, and websites. Basically we are just a bunch of fun loving pilots that have a passion for aviation just like you!

This week Al and I talk about the things we learned from the last Wings seminar. Our guest were members from the local weather station and they taught us about weather radar.

Song of the week is a happy surprise. Michael Jackson's "Fly Away"

Airport of the week is Pendleton Oregon (KPDT). You can also find out about the future Pendleton Air Museum.

Website of the week is actually two. First there is AOPA's Let's Go Flying page were you can get help towards earning your Pilots license. The second is a great site for looking at the history of aviation. It is called The Flying Machines.

If you would like to send us any comments you can send it to hangar49@comcast.net.

Take care,

Jim
